Hi Ericka Steve Raelene & Kimberley
It's a long time since I contacted you. I have just thoroughly enjoyed looking at your wonderful site especially the beautiful pics of Eliot & co - pleased to know that he has continued to be the beautiful boy that we first met must be 11 years ago.
Sadly we are back to a three 'person' household Frank, myself & our remaining human/ESS 'Mad Murphy' who at 7yrs old (almost) thinks he is very much still a pup thanks to his surrogate 'mum' 'Scandal'. Scandal, sadly, went to run free in her field of dreams 5 weeks ago today (so I probably shouldn't be sitting here looking at other beautiful dogs with similar traits... they are unmistakeable & so beautiful).
We are all feeling more than a little flat at the moment as you can imagine.
Though Murphy & Scandal were not related they were inseparable & his doleful personality is extremely hard to bear almost like we have 'lost two dogs' however we are ever inventive in our attempts to help him.
I'd always intended & hoped to catch up for you to see Scandal (so you could tell Judy she made a good decision!) & also see Eliot/Scandal together but the last eight years have gone by far to fast & sad to say now too late. Thanks to you though (& with much convincing on my part to Judy at the time) Scandal joined our family & brightened our lives at another sad time - I am sure she has found her kindred spirits - including her predecessor Guinness & they are all having a ball.
Thank you once again for your kindness so long ago
All the very best to you everyone & if you have any ideas assisting a grieving dog please let me know - cawsand@iinet.net.au - we do intend to get another Springer just wondering whether a younger mature dog or puppy would be best... your advice/comment would be equally welcome.
Many thanks Chris Frank & Murphy
